A man who allegedly filmed himself fatally strangling a five-year-old girl and then violating her corpse faces death over a litany of charges including capital murder.

And the girl’s mother, who allegedly accepted money from him so he could sexually abuse her young daughter, faces life in jail on charges including sex trafficking.

Jeremy Tremaine Williams, 37, of the US state of Alabama is due in court, accused of causing the death of Kamarie Holland, who hailed from the US state of Georgia.

Williams is accused of strangling the young victim to death, with the cause of her demise given as asphyxiation from a ligature.

Following the youngster’s death, he is alleged to have sexually assaulted her lifeless body. He allegedly filmed his acts before dumping her corpse in his former home.

He is accused of capital murder, kidnapping, rape, corpse abuse, sodomy, production of child pornography and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.

If found guilty of the charges, he reportedly faces the death penalty.

The victim’s mother, who reportedly goes by both Kristy Marie Siple and Kristy Hoskins, is accused of sex trafficking for allegedly taking money for the sexual abuse.

The 35-year-old woman also stands accused of three counts of felony murder with base charges of rape, sodomy and kidnapping.

If found guilty, she faces life behind bars without the possibility of parole.

According to the most recent court filings, the two suspects had come to an agreement whereby Williams gave Siple cash in return for “the use of her daughter”.

The amount of money that allegedly changed hands has not been divulged.

The shocking crime was discovered on the morning of 13th December last year, when Siple called the police to report her daughter missing from her home.

She told the cops she woke up in the morning to find her front door open and no trace of her daughter inside the property in Columbus, Georgia.

The girl was under the custody of her father, who is separated from her mother, but she had been staying with her mother on a visit at the time.

Williams, whom Siple had known for some time, was swiftly identified as a suspect and was arrested later that day at a motel in Phenix City, Alabama.

The victim’s body was discovered shortly afterwards in an empty property that used to be Williams’ residence.

Following Williams’ arrest, officials in the state of Alaska have decided to reinvestigate the death of his own daughter Naudia Treniece, aged 1, in 2005.

Both suspects are due to be arraigned on 5th April.
