Shocking Moment Lit Flare Is Embedded In Mans Shoulder

This is the road-rage moment a driver shoots a flare at the neck of a heavyset opponent leaving it impaled in his shoulder and in need of intensive care.

The incident took place on the Varshavskoye Highway in the district of Severnoye Butovo in the western Russian capital Moscow during a road rage incident.

In the footage, a black vehicle is seen stopping in the middle of the road as a heavyset man in grey clothes runs over to confront the driver at the car window.

As he approaches, a shot is fired from inside the car and the man doubles over with a flare sparking under the collar of his top.

Clearly in pain, the man struggles to remove the flare and a female companion rushes over to help.

According to local media, 30-year-old Spartak Oganessian suffered serious injuries to his neck and is being treated in intensive care. There have been no further updates on his current condition.

The incident was reported to the police by the victim’s female companion and officers arrested a 32-year-old Moscow resident several days later, according to reports.

Local media said that the suspect has admitted to the charge of hooliganism, listed as a criminal offence similar to disorderly conduct in Russia.

The police have also reportedly seized the flare gun used to injure the heavyset man as the investigation continues.

It is unclear what started the argument between the two road users.
