This is the moment when two bikers fly into the crowd at a motocross championship in Russia, injuring one.
The incident took place in the village of Melnikova in Irbitskiy district in Sverdlovsk Oblast in the Ural Federal District.
Footage of the incident was posted to social media on Sunday, 26th June.
It is believed the racers lost control of their motorbike and sidecar, causing them to plough directly into a group of spectators standing next to the track.
A short video of the incident shows motocross bikes fitted with sidecars travelling on a dirt track towards a hill.
Crowds of spectators can be seen standing on the corner where the track turns towards the hill.
People can be seen laughing and filming, but at one point, a bump appears to knock the pillion passenger into the rider, who apparently loses control.
The bike can then be seen flipping over and barrelling into the crowd amid screams from other onlookers.
According to local media, one child was injured as a result of the collision.
No further details about the incident or the injured child’s condition were reported.
Motocross is a form of motorcycle racing in which riders compete on a course marked out over open and often rough terrain.
It first evolved in Britain from motorcycle trials competitions in the early 1900s.
It used to be known as scrambles racing, with the first known scramble race taking place at Camberley, Surrey, in 1924.
When it started to take off in the rest of the world, it became known as motocross racing.
