A church in Catholic Poland has been found covered in Satanic pentagrams and penises have been sprayed on a statue of Jesus Christ along with the words “ave Satan”.

The incident took place at the St. Ludwik and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish of the Franciscan Order in Kalwaria Panewnicka in the southern Polish city of Katowice in Silesian Voivodeship.

Images posted by the parish on social media show how the words “ave Satan” were sprayed onto a wall above a pentagram, a sign used in the occult.

A statue of Jesus holding a cross had a penis sprayed into it and the statue’s face was also damaged.

Another statue suffered a similar fate whilst the eyes of three men in a third stature were sprayed with the black ink.

A pentagram was also inked onto a door and the words “Jezus aka Batman” also appeared. The Franciscan monks in charge of the parish have asked for help in identifying the perpetrators.

Local media report many people cross through the parish grounds as it acts as a shortcut through the town.

Tourists often go the church to visit the nearby basilica.

Netizen ‘Anna Zajac’ commented on the photographs: “When Judgement Day comes, everyone will receive payment for their good and bad deeds.”

And ‘Agata Maj’ wrote: “Pathetic kids. They have s*it for brains. They think they are the conquerors of the world.”

The parish’s officials were asked for a comment however they state the act was so brutal that any comments are redundant.
