This is the moment a herd of sheep runs in circles around a bride’s wedding car, preventing her from getting to the church on time.
The frustrating scene was filmed near the city of Hami in the north-western Chinese region of Xinjiang, the largest provincial division in China and the eighth-largest country subdivision in the world.
According to the news site Baidu, the bride, name not reported, was in a wedding car when a herd of sheep stopped the vehicle in the road and then proceeded to run in circles around it, preventing her from getting to the church on time.
However, after several ‘laps’ around the wedding car, the sheep moved on and the bride was able to continue on her way.
In the footage, the spritely sheep are seen running around the stationary white SUV, sporting decorations above the windows, as onlookers film with their phones.
The driver slowly edges forwards, but the sheep continue circling the car, preventing the bride from leaving the remote area and getting to her waiting groom.
After a while, a herd frontrunner spots something of interest nearby and the rest of the sheep are seen following to the side of the road, allowing the bride to continue on her way.
