Sheep Dogs That Switched Sides And Joined Wolf Pack Are Filmed By Shocked Fisherman

This is the moment a stunned fisherman comes across two sheepdogs that have joined a pack of wild wolves.

Can Cebeci, age not reported, said he was fishing at Keban Dam Lake in the landlocked Turkish province of Elazig when he came across the sight of the wolf pack with the two canine members.

He said he was trying to control his fishing rod when he suddenly saw two wolves from the pack encircling him.

However, scared as he was, he admitted he was amazed when he saw the two dogs, believed to have been sheepdogs, apparently living among the wolf pack.

He said dogs are often attacked by wolves in the area, but here they were walking among them. He tried to call the dogs away, but they remained with the wolf pack and they all disappeared together.

In the footage, Cebeci is seen whistling to one dog and disturbing several members of the pack.

The animals start to walk away from the man and one pack member, possibly a German shepherd, stops to look at him before joining the rest of the group.

Cebeci told Ihlas: “I went fishing in the evening and suddenly found myself in the middle of a pack of wolves.

“A wolf passed in front of me and another wolf noticed me and went to the other side.”

He added: “You can never take anything for granted in nature, surprises can happen in an instant.”
