This is the shocking moment police sharpshooters gun down a squealing wild boar which found its way into a resident’s back garden as their hunting dogs attack the animal’s neck.

In the dramatic footage, the boar is seen being chased by cop dogs and pursuing sharpshooters as it squeals in terror.

Cornered in a residential garden, police shoot the animal twice while the two dogs also attack the bulky beast.

The injured boar is then seen diving into some bushes with the hunting dogs in hot pursuit.

A policeman then drags the animal’s motionless body out of the bushes as the two dogs attack its neck.

According to local media, after receiving the call from the frightened homeowner, armed police were sent to the property with two hunting dogs to track down the dangerous animal.

Following a half-hour search, cops found the boar hiding in the bushes in a residential garden.

Out of consideration for local residents, police decided to shoot the boar in case it escaped and ended up causing injury.

Police spokesman Che Yunfeng told local media: “Wild boars are protected animals, normally we do not kill them but just drive them back to the forest. This time we had no choice because there were so many residents there.”
