This Latin diva fears going blind after repeated treatments have failed to cure her life-long eye condition which means she has trouble using stairs or seeing at night.
According to local media, 39-year-old singer Diana Reyes was diagnosed with congenital myopia at birth.
During a recent interview, she said: “I have had an eye issue since I was born. Sadly, it is the same problem my mum has. It is also a progressive problem which, even if I undergo surgery, continues to worsen.”

Reyes said that she underwent laser surgery over 10 years ago and once had a cornea transplant in her left eye.
She said: “I am having a hybrid lens made in the United State so I keep moving on. My problem keeps growing and I could go blind in the future.
“It is something I am expecting, I am very aware of the situation.”
The Mexican singer added that she has problems walking down the stairs and “at night I trip up on everything”.
Reyes claims that doctors in both Mexico and the US have told her that the problem cannot be cured, according to reports.
She said: “I got a second opinion, but so far there is not a treatment. My only hope is that science keeps developing. I believe that something may come along in the future.
