This is the horrifying moment two gunmen massacre seven people including a 12-year-old girl in a bloodbath at a pool hall.

The pair had lost two matches in a row and police in Sinop City, in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, say they acted out of revenge on people who laughed at them.

Terrifying CCTV footage shows one of the killers armed with a handgun lining people up against the wall while the second gets a shotgun from a pickup truck.

Within 10 seconds everyone in the pool hall on 21st February had been gunned down apart from one woman.

Six died instantly and a seventh victim – named as Elizeu Santos da Silva, 47 – died later from gunshot wounds.

The six other victims have been named as Larissa Frasao de Almeida, 12, Orisberto Pereira Sousa, 38, Adriano Balbinote, 46, Getulio Rodrigues Frasao Junior, 36, Josue Ramos Tenorio, 48, and Maciel Bruno de Andrade Costa, 35.

The first victim, a man in a white T-shirt, falls to the ground after the killer with the shotgun blasts him at point-blank range.

Then the pair work their way through the other terrified customers and fire at two of them after they fled into the street.

They leave one woman alive and she can be seen standing holding her arms up in horror after the gunmen have left.

Before they leave, the killers take small amounts of cash on pool tables and steal a purse belonging to one of the victims.

Police Lieutenant Romening dos Santos Silva said that the gunmen took revenge after losing two games of pool.

After their first loss, they went to get more money only to lose again when they returned.

The two assailants, identified as Edgar Ricardo de Oliveira, 30, and Ezequias Souza Ribeiro, 27 are reported to have become enraged when they were mocked for losing.

The officer said: “The way it happened, it is clear that some victims may not even have been involved with the game that was taking place at the establishment.”

The suspects are on the run. The investigation is ongoing.
