A woman who was dumped by her boyfriend and then lost her job has told how she’s dating three men a day to find a husband.

Bao Zhuzi, 32, has given herself just three years to find Mr Right and, she says, has dated hundreds of men since her life fell apart.

Zhuzi – who sometimes dates three men in a single day – told local media: “After two weeks of feeling sorry for myself, I decided to take my life in hand and since then I’ve met hundreds of men.

“Everyone deals with the end of a relationship in a different way, some people go shopping, some will go to the gym.

“I go out and date men.”

Zhuzi – who owns her own house in the Chinese capital Beijing – said her last romance fell apart when she felt her biological clock ticking but her partner wasn’t interested in starting a family.

She said: “If you leave out the matter of childbearing, everyone is actually the same in terms of the need for a relationship.

“But if a woman wants to have children, then they have to accept that there is a limit and a best age for childbearing.”

In Chinese society, women who are not married and do not have children by the time they reach 40 are regarded as a problem.

Zhuzi has given herself until she’s 35 to find a husband.

She explained: “I can’t ignore this time limit, especially as I don’t just want one, I want two.”

She said that every day was an adventure, even from the first date, when the man had looked perfectly ordinary in photographs, but, when she met him, he was very muscular, much better looking, and had a wonderfully deep voice.

But she is not pressuring herself and said that her current attitude is to take one step at a time and, at each step, problems should be solved and a decision made on what should be done.

She said: “All things can be worked out except for love, you can work hard, but you can’t ask for something that needs to be given, and you can’t give in order to get something in return.”
