This is the moment a security guard throws one woman down on the floor and punches another so hard she almost collapses after three of them attacked him in a school playground.
The incident was filmed in a playground in the borough of Iztacalco in the central Mexican capital Mexico City when an unnamed pupil’s family tried to forcibly enter the school grounds, according to reports.
The security guard, identified only by his first name Juan, tried to stop them and was reportedly attacked as a result.
In the video, the guard is seen backpedalling as a heavyset woman in red tracksuit bottoms chases after him.
She is then joined by a woman in a grey cardigan who appears to use her belt to whip the guard, shouting “you think you can touch my mother?”
Meanwhile, the security guard uses his jacket like a bullfighter’s red cape to keep them at bay.
At one point, the woman in grey steps up to the guard and he punches her full in the face leaving he staggering, drawing the wrath of a nearby couple who chase after the backpedalling guard.
The guard appears to dump the chasing woman on the ground before breaking free and running to the other side of the playground.
According to local media, the local authorities are investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, netizens had a lot to say with many defending the security guard’s actions.
‘Norma22flores’ commented: “I applaud the guard’s patience in that situation.”
Netizen ‘Deibvaz’ said: “I only see the guard defending himself from aggressive people.”
Meanwhile, ‘Mavitt’ wrote: “First of all, those women should learn how to behave like civilised people!”
