This is the moment a scooter rider is sent flying through the air as his helmet comes loose when a driver going the wrong way slams into him head on but he manages to survive.
The crash captured on a car dashcam shows the motorist Mr He, 29, inexplicably driving on the left side of the road instead of the right.
The footage dated 29th July shows him crashing his black saloon straight into the scooter rider, launching him into the air and sending him flying out of frame in Shunde District in Foshan, a city in East China’s Fujian Province.

Video taken in the aftermath shows the biker and one other motorcyclist lying injured on the busy Fengshan Middle Road, where numerous other vehicles are also left damaged in the multi-vehicle incident.
Shunde Police said two motorcycles and four cars were damaged by Mr He’s saloon car, which ultimately crashed to a stop.
The two bikers were taken to hospital with varying injuries, but they are not in any life-threatening condition, the police added.
The authorities said Mr He was subjected to breathalyser and toxicology tests.
He tested negative for drink- or drug-driving.
The police are still investigating the case and have thus far not commented on whether Mr He’s actions might have been deliberate.
