Schoolgirl Persuades Boyfriend To Murder Her Parents And Her 10-Year-Old Disabled Sister

A schoolgirl and her boyfriend have been arrested after she allegedly convinced him to murder her parents and her 10-year-old disabled sister by stabbing them to death.

The gruesome murders took place in the village of Yuryevka, which is located in Pavlogradsky District, in the Russian region of Omsk Oblast, on Saturday, 22nd January.

The schoolgirl, whose first name has been given as Anna and who is reportedly 14 years old, allegedly convinced her 17-year-old boyfriend, whose first name has been given as Alexander, to murder her mother and stepfather, both unnamed but reportedly 38 and 35 years old respectively, and her disabled 10-year-old sister, also unnamed. A six-year-old boy, also unnamed, reportedly escaped the massacre.

Head of The Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin has ordered criminologists from the central apparatus of the department to Omsk Oblast to investigate the murders.

The teenage girl allegedly told her boyfriend that her stepfather had molested her, leading the 17-year-old boy to take matters into his own hands, according to one local report. Another report, however, alleges that the murders took place after the adults banned the young couple from seeing each other.

The 14-year-old girl, who allegedly convinced her boyfriend to murder her parents and sister, initially told investigators that an unknown man had entered the family home and carried out the gruesome deeds.

This was at first confirmed by the six-year-old boy, but he then came clean and allegedly said that the schoolgirl had instigated the massacre and that it had been carried out by her boyfriend.

The schoolgirl allegedly left the door to the family home unlocked one night, allowing her boyfriend to slip inside. He had allegedly borrowed a bayonet from a neighbour to carry out the murders.

The investigation is ongoing. It is currently unclear if the suspects have been formally charged. Because they are both minors, the maximum sentence they face if convicted is 10 years in prison.
