This Russian influencer is under investigation after bringing a 30-stone bear to her flat to show her toddler son before posting the clip on TikTok.

Valeria Tatarintseva, better known online as Lera Izumrud, is a 21-year-old TikToker with 7.5 million followers.

Tatarintseva, whose every TikTok video gets millions of views, recently brought a 200-kilogramme (31.5-stone) bear to her flat in the city of Mytishchi in the Russian region of Moscow Oblast, where she lives with her one-year-old son Mark.

Tatarintseva, who filmed the moment the bear was brought home with the help of a man, appears very excited and wonders what her son’s reaction will be.

Tatarintseva also filmed another video of her playing and singing with the bear in her flat and shared it with her followers.

Tatarintseva’s neighbours, who were aware of the incident after the videos went viral, called it unacceptable.

An unnamed neighbour said: “The neighbours showed me a video of a huge bear being brought into our apartment building. This crosses all sorts of boundaries.

“This is a wild animal, it does not belong in an apartment building. And what if it had encountered children or pets in the hallway?

“It was kept on a lead with only one person accompanying it. If the animal had felt provoked by something, it could have led to terrible consequences.”

The videos, which have since been taken down, also caught the attention of the local authorities.

Newsflash obtained a statement from the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Moscow Oblast that confirmed that law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation.
