This is the moment a drunk man jumps behind the wheel of his pal’s taxi as a joke and ends up ramming two children in Russia.

The incident was filmed in the village of Karyer Izvestnyak in the district of Alexandrovsky in the western Russian region of Perm Krai during a boozy group celebration.

In the footage, a man is seen running to the car and yanking open the door while someone in the driver’s seat suddenly wheel spins away.

A girl is heard screaming as the man is dragged along the ground while hanging on for dear life.

Meanwhile, the drink-driver hits a barrier as two children run away.

The barrier appears to flatten both youngsters before the out-of-control driver rams into someone else.

The car then grinds to a halt on a large mound of snow.

According to local media, the 36-year-old drunk suspect decided to drive his friend’s taxi as a joke.

Two children were reportedly hurt in the incident. One only suffered minor injuries while the other was hospitalised with a head injury.

The unnamed girl has since been released from hospital, according to reports.

Meanwhile, the alleged drink-driver has been arrested as the police investigation continues.
