This is the moment a Russian hoodie kicks and punches a barmaid over the price of cognac before shoving an elderly customer whose timely arrival apparently halted the beating.

The incident was filmed in the city of Apatity located in the north-western Russian region of Murmansk Oblast and shared on YouTube where it has been viewed over 32,000 times.

According to local media, the suspect complained about the high price of a cognac and when the female worker suggested that he visit another establishment, the hoodie walked around the bar and beat her.

The suspect stopped the alleged beating when an elderly punter arrived for a drink and was reportedly shoved just for entering the bar at the wrong time.

After nearly pushing the elderly man over, local media said that the unnamed hoodie walked back inside the bar and continued to threaten the barmaid which is when the police arrived to detain him.

Following medical treatment, the barmaid told reporters that the attack occurred when the suspect complained about the price of cognac and she told him to look for another bar.

Luckily, the victim did not suffer serious injury and the police investigation into the alleged attack is ongoing.
