This is the moment a runaway horse walks into a supermarket and has a nose at the products on offer before its child owner goes in to retrieve it.
The incident was filmed by the shop’s cameras in the municipality of Camaca in the Brazilian state of Bahia on 15th November.
The horse escaped from the boy while he was leading it down the street and it ended up entering the local supermarket, according to local media outlet G1.
The horse was met by the store owner, who prevented it from venturing down the aisles.
The horse’s owner, a young boy, then went into the supermarket and took the animal away with the help of the store owner.
The horse was reportedly returned to its stable and no material damage was reported at the supermarket.
In the CCTV footage, the horse is seen walking into the store as the boy looks on from the pavement.
Just as the animal passes the tills at the front of the store, the owner rushes from the back and gestures to the horse to stop.
He keeps the horse rooted to the spot for a moment while the boy enters and takes its reins.
The scene then cuts to the boy standing on the street while beckoning his horse to come out of the supermarket.
Meanwhile, the owner is seen waiting for the animal to leave to apparently return a fridge he had removed from the shop as a precautionary measure.
