ROUNDABOUT HORROR: 25 Injured As Ride Crashes To Ground

This is the devastating moment 25 people were injured as a high-speed fairground ride plunged to the ground.

Horrific footage of the smash – at the Teloloapan Expo Fair in Guerrero State, Mexico, on 29th October – shows the roundabout-style ride crash around 50ft to earth.

The Sky Flyer ride had – reported local media – suffered a massive mechanical failure.

Terrified witnesses saw the ride hit the ground in seconds and can be seen rushing forward to help injured passengers.

Officials said all 25 of the injured were rushed to hospital for treatment after being rescued.

Now all mechanical rides at the fair – set to run until 5th November – have been suspended according to a statement Newsflash obtained from the Civil Protection Secretary in the state of Guerrero.

The statement added: “Twenty five people were injured on the night of Saturday, October 29, when the mechanical game called the “Flying Chairs” collapsed unexpectedly, apparently due to a mechanical failure.”

The statement went on: “As a preventive measure and in order to avoid future accidents, the operation of all the mechanical games of said fair have been cancelled until the owners (can) guarantee their correct operation and the necessary safety for their users.”
