Rodeo Bull Jumps In Stands To Get Crowds Perspective On The Event

This bull got fed up with taking part in a rodeo in Mexico and decided to jump in the stands to get the crowd’s perspective on the event.

The incident was filmed during a rodeo event in the indigenous community of Zacualpan in the municipality of Comala in the Mexican state of Colima.

According to the news site Publimetro, the bull escaped from the ring and ended up in the arena’s stands.

Despite being filled with spectators at the time, the bull did not attack anyone and nonchalantly perused the area from the top row.

Two cowboys managed to lasso the bull and bring it down the steps before eventually leading it back into the ring.

According to reports, no one suffered major injuries in the incident. However, three people needed treatment for minor scrapes.

In the footage, the bull is seen strolling along the upper stand as spectators laugh and film the animal, which appears calm.

The second and third videos show two cowboys lassoing the stocky bull before leading it back into the ring.

The incident took place during a ‘jaripeo’ event, a form of bull riding that is common in central and southern Mexico.

The practice developed in the 16th century and used to involve riding fighting bulls to the death. However, it evolved into a sport where contestants ride the bucking bulls until they tire out.

Riding and staying mounted on a bucking bull has commonly been dubbed “the most dangerous eight seconds in sports”.
