This is the road-rage moment an angry cyclist punches a bus driver’s window in the middle of busy traffic and it shatters before the culprit whizzes off down the street.

The incident was filmed in the city of Tula in the south-western Russian region of Tula Oblast, and the footage was later widely circulated on social media.

In the video, the filming motorist is seen passing the cyclist, in a blue top and black beanie, as the bus pulls over at a stop further along the road.

The young cyclist appears to exchange a few words with the bus driver before threateningly raising his fist to him

A short while later, he punches the bus window and glass flies inside the cab.

The cyclist then gives the bus driver a dirty look before continuing on his way.

According to local media, the incident has been reported to the authorities who have opened an investigation to establish the circumstances leading up to the moment of road rage.

It is currently unclear what started the row and if the bus driver sustained any injuries from the broken glass.

Netizen ‘Alexei Ilyin’ said: “I think we only see the last moments of the clash. I wonder if the bus driver nearly hit the cyclist or insulted him beforehand.”
