RING BACK: Woman Unearths Ring Lost By Her Mother While Gardening

A woman in north-western China was surprised and overjoyed when she dig up the gold ring her mother had lost while gardening last spring.

The discovery was made in the woman’s garden in the city of Altay, in the Chinese province of Xinjiang.

The woman, Ms Ma, filmed the moment she made her astonishing discovery and later shared it on Douyin – the Chinese version of TikTok.

Ms Ma told local media that because the weather is getting increasingly cold as winter approaches, she had to dig out the flower seeds and move them indoors.

She found the ring that her mother lost when she planted flowers in the spring.

She did not expect to find it, and her mother was very happy.

In the footage, Ms Ma can be seen showing off the unexpected find and cleaning the dirt off the seed which had grown into the ring.

And she added: “My mother is a person who loves life very much. When she went to plant flowers in April and May, she accidentally lost her ring in the ground.

“She searched for it and couldn’t find it at that time. After shovelling down with a shovel, I happened to find the ring!
