This is the moment a reversing lorry crushes an unsuspecting worker against a wall and blood splatters onto the icy ground.
The incident was filmed in the loading area of the Deloviye Linii company freight company located in the city of Yekaterinburg in the south-western Russian region of Sverdlovsk Oblast.
In the footage, the lorry is seen reversing towards the building as the victim walks towards a bay door which he appears to lift up.
With his back turned, the oncoming lorry crushes him against the wall and blood is seen splattering the white snow.
According to local media, the 33-year-old victim was a caretaker at the site and was crushed by the lorry while his back was turned.
Reports also said that the vehicle’s reverse alarm was sounding at the time, but the worker did not check how close it was to him.
Meanwhile, the 51-year-old lorry driver, who has over 25 years of experience, reportedly did not see the caretaker while carrying out the manoeuvre.
Police are investigating the worker’s death and it is unclear whether the driver will be charged with committing an offence.
The investigation is ongoing.
