This is the moment a Lamborghini driver speeds into the back of a car in slow-moving traffic and sends it flying into another vehicle before overturning in the road.
The incident was filmed in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur at around 8.40am on 8th September.
According to the news site Harian Metro, the rented Lamborghini crashed into a Proton Perdana car in congested traffic.
The 42-year-old Lamborghini driver was making his way home from Kuala Lumpur International Airport when the accident took place.
In the video, the Lamborghini is seen speeding along the right side of the dual carriageway and nearly hitting the filming driver before crashing into the back of the slow-moving Proton Perdana, caught up in traffic.
The Proton car then rams the vehicle in front and overturns in the road.
Police spokesperson Sarifudin Mohd Salleh said the Lamborghini driver was speeding at the time and was not expecting to encounter a traffic jam, adding: “As a result, they lost control of the vehicle they were driving before crashing into several cars, including flipping over the Proton Perdana which was driven by a 53-year-old woman.”
The police added: “Several other vehicles were also rammed into, causing further damage.”
The motorists involved in the accident only suffered minor injuries in the accident and were treated at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).
According to an eyewitness at the scene, the suspect said the Lamborghini was a rental.
He reportedly tested negative for drug and alcohol use.
The local police are investigating the incident under Section 43, 1 of Malaysia’s 1987 Road Transport Act.
