This is the moment a little lad bursts into tears after slipping on the floor and then being kicked across the living room by his dad who slips on the same floor when he comes to save him.

The footage was shot at Yichang, which is a prefecture-level city located in China’s western Hubei Province.

According to local media, the little lad, who has not been named, unexpectedly fell when he rushed into the living room and tried to stop too suddenly on the slippery floor.

He fell backwards as a result and banged his head on the floor whereupon he burst into tears, prompting his dad to run over to pick him up.

But instead, as he tries to slow down, the dad ends up slipping as well, and his feet which shot out from underneath him, end up kicking the child, sending him disappearing off the camera.

The child’s mother, identified only as Ms Huang, said she had to watch the surveillance footage to understand what had happened.

She confirmed that her son was doing okay after the incident but had complained that actually falling over had not been that painful, but being kicked by dad was a lot worse.

Her husband, who was not named, added: “I felt really guilty, especially when he told me it was me that did more damage than the initial accident.”

The dad also admitted that he had suffered as well, spraying his wrist in the incident, although he said at the end of the day the guilt was worse.
