Robert Myslajek from the Association for Nature WOLF said: “This is sensational because until now we have often observed females with one or two cubs, but rarely with three.

“A lynx with four cubs is an excellent hunter, which you can tell due to the amazing condition of all of her cubs.”

The Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) is a medium-sized wild cat that lives in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe and as far as Central Asia, Siberia and the Himalayas.

They are most active during the night, spending between six and seven hours exploring their territories.

The Silesian part of the Carpathian Mountains is said to be home to around 25 lynxes which are slowly becoming endangered due to deforestation.

In the footage, the mother lynx ganders across a valley as if checking her territory before one of her cubs is seen strutting across a mountain path.

In the night scene, the mother’s other cubs appear out of the darkness and run in front of the camera.
