The monster motorcyclist suspected of raping a helplessly drunk woman outside a bar has taken his own life after being targeted by police.

CCTV footage showed the attacker walking away from his victim – who had collapsed outside the bar – while adjusting his fly.

The woman had been abandoned by her drinking pals and left outside the bar in the municipality of Itaitinga, in the Brazilian state of Ceara, in the early hours of 20th March.

According to reports, the suspect was a passing motorcyclist who spotted the 41-year-old woman on the street before removing her underwear and sexually assaulting her.

The woman was only rescued after local residents spotted her still unconscious and called for an ambulance and the police.

She was taken to a local hospital.

And now, the passing biker who allegedly committed the sick act has been identified by the Civil Police of Ceara as 37-year-old Jose Nascimento Veras.

He was caught by the cops as he hid in a relative’s house in the municipality of Miraima, also in Ceara, in the early hours of Tuesday, 5th April.

However, he reportedly committed suicide when he saw the officers closing in on him.

Local reports did not state how he took his own life.

The Civil Police of Ceara are still investigating the alleged rape, the footage of which did the rounds on social media and provoked fury in Brazil.
