As a result, the police in South Tangerang arrested the suspect over the weekend, nearly one year after the alleged assault took place.

‘Amyfitria.s’ identified the man as Raffi Idzamallah aka ‘Gondes’ and claimed that he raped her at her home on 13th August 2019.

She also said that he has subjected her to psychological abuse since.

The netizen wrote: “It has almost been a year for me to finally take up the courage to talk about this event that has been haunting me until this day.

“I would not have done this if the police would have taken action, but by law I do not have enough evidence to put this f*cker into jail so all I can do is expose him.”

According to the young woman, Gondes broke into her house in the morning when she was still asleep.

She continued: “Before I could even react, he bashed me several times with what I believe was a piece of metal until I was bleeding from my head and lying almost unconscious on the floor with several bad bruises from my head to my shoulders.

“I saw he was holding a knife and I was pleading [with] him to not kill me, he told me to stay quiet and proceeded to sexually assault me (yes, the r word).”

The suspect then left the house before the young woman ran outside to call for help.

She was then sent to hospital for checks and she filed a report with the police.

However, she claimed that the police did not immediately act and Gondes was allowed to continue psychologically terrorising her.

She wrote: “Also that very same day he decided to text me, first trying to apologise then once again threatening me because he ‘let me live’.”

She also shared screenshots of the suspect’s DMs on Instagram including one that taunted: “Is your belly big yet?”

Even though the victim said that the authorities did not arrest the suspect last year because of lack of evidence, the police have arrested Gondes following the viral social media post.

South Tangerang police chief Imam Setiawan confirmed: “He has been captured.”

Gondes has reportedly been charged with rape and theft which are punishable by up to 12 and nine years in jail respectively.
