This is the moment a white police officer attending a shooting at the Wendy’s restaurant where Rayshard Brooks was killed is abused by BLM protesters over his skin colour.

The incident was filmed outside Wendy’s in the city of Atlanta in the US state of Georgia over the weekend, and the footage has been widely shared on Facebook.

The video was accompanied with the message: “Somebody got shot in front of the same Wendy’s Rayshard Brooks got killed at.

“A white cop pulled up and this is what happened.”

In the video, the white officer appears to be accompanied by a black WPC as a group of people crowd him before shouting “no white cops”.

His colleague appears to pull him away and as he walks back towards the patrol car, a BLM protester is heard shouting: “Get your white face out of here.”

Before getting into the patrol car, one protester is seen getting in the officer’s face before demanding that the police “get the f*ck out of here man”.

At the end of the video, a small crowd has gathered outside the patrol car as the white cop takes cover inside. Meanwhile, at least two black colleagues appear to continue their investigation without his help.

Rayshard Brooks, 27, was shot and killed by police officer Garrett Rolfe on 12th June.

The incident followed a struggle that resulted in the detainee snatching a police taser to fire at the cop while running away.

He was being arrested for being intoxicated behind the wheel of his car at a Wendy’s drive-thru.
