Speaking about Sarri, Rabiot told local media: “The coach has given me a great impression. He has a very precise philosophy on his style of play and he has explained how he wants us to play very well. We are working great with him and the coaching staff.”

He also expressed how excited he is to start the Italian first division Serie A as he feels “in good form” and Juventus are “the team to beat” but they “feel confident”.

Rabiot has played lots of minutes during preseason and says he and Cristiano Ronaldo they have built a “great relationship”.

He said: “I’ve played a lot this summer because I need to adapt. I’m starting to create a great relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo who also plays on the left. His presence makes everyone better.”

Rabiot had a controversial transfer from Paris Saint-Germain after the club sanctioned him for a month and allowed him to leave on a free transfer.

He was seen partying in a nightclub hours after the side’s Champions League defeat to Manchester United in the round of 16 and ‘liking’ a tweet in which the former United left-back Patrice Evra celebrated the victory earlier this year.

After Rabiot’s transfer to Juventus was final he told local media that “playing with Cristiano Ronaldo surely had some weight in his decision”.

Rabiot has yet to play an official Seria A game with Juventus but the team begin their league campaign on 24th August against Parma Calcio.
