This is the moment 48-year-old ‘Queen of Latin Pop’ Thalia releases her negative energy on her MMA trainer to feel good for the new year.
The pretty Mexican pop star, who is married to Mariah Carey’s ex-hubby, 70-year-old music executive Tommy Mottola, shared the video on Instagram for her 15.2 million followers where it has been viewed nearly 600,000 times.
Thalia said she wanted to get fit after Christmas and has apparently taken up MMA lessons to shed some pounds from the festive season.
In the footage, the singer is seen training in a ring with an instructor as words such as “negativity”, “haters” and “self doubt” appear on the screen with each kick and punch.
Netizen ‘Oldon’ commented: “This is how I want to be for 2020, getting rid of all the negativity.”
‘Jhordanfarrova’ said: “Wow, queen! You are simply spectacular, I really admire you as an artist, singer and especially as person, you are a real example and you always chase your dreams”.

The pop star also shared a video of her trying on the gown before the ceremony on Instagram where it went viral with 3.9 million views.
The footage shows the yummy mummy viewing the gown before the ceremony and moments before she stepped on stage to be presented with the President’s Merit Award.
She remarks: “I am very nervous, I want to cry.”
