The body of Shaggy the pink-haired punk singer has been found after she was raped and murdered and then buried in a hole in the ground before it was concreted over.

Cops in Russia who confirmed finding the young woman’s body have arrested a 45-year-old cabbie for raping the 20-year-old and concreting over her body after digging a hole in a basement below his garage.

The sick crime was discovered in the basement of the shared garage in the Zavodskoy district of the city of Saratov in Russia’s Volga region on the night of 8th June.

The victim, whose real name was Elizaveta, had gone missing two days earlier.

Rescue workers removed her body from the concrete and handed it over to forensic experts, who found she had sustained multiple injuries to her head and body.

The cause of her death was later given as blunt trauma to the head.

The suspect – a local resident and minicab driver whose name was not divulged – was arrested.

He reportedly admitted to his actions and told police he had also punched the young woman in the face before striking her with the metal object.

Investigators said he had spotted Elizaveta on the street in the early hours of 6th June and offered her a lift in his car. The two had previously never met.

But instead of taking her to her destination, he took her to the garage, where he raped her.

The young woman managed to send a message on her mobile phone to a friend after the sexual assault, but it was not enough to save her life.

After killing Elizaveta, the suspect left the scene, but he returned to the garage later that day to dig the hole, throw his victim’s body into it, and fill it with cement.

Elizaveta was a singer and followed punk subculture. Her friends knew her as ‘Shaggy’.

The suspect was charged with ‘rape’ and ‘murder accompanied by rape’.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Saratov Region is still investigating the case.
