Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola is being rumoured with a transfer to the Premier League and his WAG is said to be keen on a move to London.
Areola spent this season on-loan to Real Madrid and Los Blancos coach was reportedly happy with his performances in the eight matches he played, but the Spanish giants are reportedly not likely to make the deal permanent.
Real Madrid have Ukrainian stopper Andrei Lounine, 21, and Zidane’s son Luca Zidane, 21, on the books with the pair currently on loan to Real Oviedo and Racing Santander respectively.
According to French sports magazine L’Equipe, Areola is making no secret about not wanting to return to Paris and has repeatedly told his entourage that he does not believe staying there will help in his career development.
The 27-year-old is a graduate of PSG’s academy and is said to be keen on a move to London, a city his wife Marrion reportedly likes.
The Frenchman has made 107 appearances for PSG and his spell at the club has included loans to Lens, Brescia and Villareal. He has made three appearances for the French national team and was included in their squad for the 2018 World Cup, becoming the first player since 1986 to earn a World Cup medal whilst still uncapped for their nation.
