This beautiful taxi driver has been founded dead after being stabbed over 50 times in her cab and the Philippine cops have identified three “persons of interest”.
The victim, identified as Robyn Jang Lucero, was found dead in the city of Calamba in the northern Philippine province of Laguna and it is likely that she knew her attacker personally, according to police spokesperson Colonel Gene Licud.
Licud added that the police are “more inclined” to believe the killing took place due to a “love triangle” rather than something related to her job as a cabbie.
The police reportedly identified three people from an online chat group who hired the victim to drive for them on the day of her death.
The authorities are still trying to track down the three suspects, adding that they were possibly hired to lure the victim to the scene before killing her.
Licud said that Lucero may have been killed because of “intense love” and that four phones were found at the scene which may have been left by the perpetrators to confuse the cops.
Four eyewitnesses have confirmed the theory that at least three people were involved in the young woman’s murder, according to local media.
The victim was reportedly moonlighting as a cabbie after losing her restaurant job during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Lucero was found dead in her car with over 50 stab wounds, mostly in the chest area.
Shortly before her death, the victim dropped her partner off in the town of Bae, according to reports.
The investigation continues.
