Pretty Civil Engineering Student Falls To Her Death Down Fourth-Floor Lift Shaft On Final Assignment Before Graduation

This pretty student has fallen to her death down a lift shaft on the fourth floor of a building that was under construction and that she was supervising as part of her last assignment before she could graduate.

The victim has been named as civil engineering student Blanca Cecilia Sanchez Villazon, age not reported, and she died after falling down a fourth-floor lift shaft in a building that reportedly belongs to the Popular University of Cesar, which is located in the city of Valledupar, in the Cesar Department of northern Colombia.

The young student reportedly died while carrying out practical tasks as part of her course at university. She was reportedly supervising a construction site when she fell down the lift shaft, which was reportedly under construction.

She was quickly assisted by people nearby and was taken to a hospital by ambulance, but she sadly succumbed to her injuries.

Blanca reportedly suffered multiple fractures to her body, as well as head trauma. She was declared dead a few minutes after arriving at the Santa Isabel Clinic.

A witness reportedly told local media: “The engineering student was supervising the work, the workers say that she went to lean against the wall on the edge of the lift and she fell down the hole. Her protective helmet broke, her head was bleeding and she had a displaced arm.”

This was reportedly the last construction work she had to supervise before could graduate as an engineer.

It is currently unclear if the police are investigating the tragic death.
