Pregnant Woman Dismembered By Boyfriend On Orders Of Another Girlfriend

The remains of this 12-week pregnant woman have been found in two different parts of a city as the authorities suspect her boyfriend of killing her on the orders of another girlfriend.

The shocking incident occurred in the city of Aguascalientes in the Mexican state of the same name where the authorities found the remains of Estefania Silvestre Hernandez on 24th January.

Part of her body was found inside a plastic barrel next to the Rio San Pedro River while the rest of her remains were found at a water treatment plant.

Police conducted an autopsy and confirmed she was between 10 and 12 weeks pregnant and either died in the evening or early morning of 21st or 22nd January.

Prosecutor Jesus Figueroa Ortega said: “What we are dealing with is, unfortunately, a femicide and we have categorically determined that the cause of death was anaemia from a massive blood loss during the dismemberment of the person’s body.”

There are conflicting reports on the victim’s age but she was reported to be between 25 and 27 years of age.

After conducting their investigation, the authorities suspected Silvestre Hernandez’s boyfriend and father of her baby who has been identified as Cristian, 23.

He was detained along with an 18-year-old man identified as Luis Daniel who is suspected of taking part in the vicious murder after he was asked for help.

According to the newspaper Infobae, both suspects confessed they killed and dismembered the body of Silvestre Hernandez under the instructions of a woman identified as Itzel, 20. (https://bit.ly/36Br5mr)

According to the Attorney General’s Office, Itzel planned the killing after she found out about Cristian’s relationship with the victim and her pregnancy.

However, Silvestre Hernandez was not aware of the relationship between Itzel and Cristian, according to Infobae.

All three suspects are being held in custody as the investigation continues.
