This is the moment a pregnant woman climbs out of her husband’s upside-down car after it smashes into a set of crash barrels on a motorway and flips over.
CCTV cameras on the Weng’an-Jiangkou Expressway show the couple’s champagne-coloured SUV straying out of its lane and slamming into the barrels, which are destroyed on impact as the wrecked vehicle flips onto its roof behind a screen of water.
The accident happened in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, which is in Guizhou Province in south-western China, on 30th June.

As the water settles, the couple’s car is revealed to be severely damaged and upside down, its front axle having been torn from the chassis.
Moments later, driver Mr Huang and his wife can be seen climbing out of the wreckage, both seemingly still able to walk.
Local authorities said Mr Huang’s wife, who is four months pregnant, was checked at Weng’an County People’s Hospital.
Neither she nor her husband suffered any serious injuries as both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, the police said. The pregnant mum-to-be’s unborn child was reportedly unharmed.
Mr Huang told investigators he was doing over 100 kph (62 mph) when the accident happened.
His car has been written off and further investigations ongoing.
