A prankster has “outdone himself” by decorating his pal’s property with an incredible four tonnes of decorations to welcome his new baby home.

The incident took place in the city of Kutina in the central Croatian county of Sisak-Moslavina following the birth of Mario Plantosar’s newborn son Andrej.

According to Mario, his friend Alen was so pleased to be made godfather to his second child that he covered the dad’s entire house, garden and car with four tonnes of decorations three days after the birth.

Mario said: “He is pretty crazy, but he’s outdone himself with this!”

After bringing his new baby home from hospital, the proud dad said: “We partied the whole night because my wife came home from hospital.

“We have so many things to celebrate lately. Andrej was born on 13th September, my first daughter Erika was born on the 11th, my wife’s birthday is the 12th.

“September is a massive celebration for us.”

Mario continued: “Andrej’s godfather had planned this for a long time. He is the initiator, although many of the neighbours helped him.

Mario admitted that he never expected Alen to pull such a large-scale prank, saying: “We had to arrange a van to take it all away!”
