This is the moment a YouTube prankster and his entourage are roughed up by a TV star’s security team after trying to throw a ‘custard pie’ in the burly celebrity’s face.
The incident was filmed at a bar in the central Mexican capital Mexico City and the highlights were shared on the social media pages of YouTube comedian Luis Alberto Ordaz, better known as ‘Rey Grupero’.
The incident started on 3rd January when the prankster shared a photo of him holding a sign on Instagram saying that he would throw a custard pie in Carlos Trejo’s face if he got 3,000 ‘likes’.
Trejo, who refers to himself as ‘Cazafantasmas’ (‘Ghosthunter’), is a famous Mexican writer and TV star.
He wrote the bestseller ‘Canitas’ in 1995 about a haunted house and later appeared in TV shows about his investigations and paranormal activities.
In the video, the stocky TV star is seen blocking the cake-throw before apparently lashing out at the long-haired comedian.
The celebrity’s security team also get involved and Rey Grupero and at least one colleague are ushered out of the bar.
The prankster, now sporting a bloodied face, says to one security guard: “Bring me the man I am looking for (referring to Trejo).”
Outside, the comedian is confronted by the burly TV star who says: “Come here and see who it is you’re trying to prank.”
Instagram user ‘RoovingMusic’ said: “That is cool!”
Netizen ‘JorgeLicea85’ commented: “Go tiger!”
‘JonathanPgtz’ wrote: “Looks like you dug your own grave pal.”
‘Rolandosant7’ said: “It is a shame he did not beat you up, that would have been great!”
