A young Malaysian man was bitten on the buttocks by a snake lurking in his toilet while sitting on the loo and playing a game on his mobile phone.

It is unclear if Sabri Tazali, 28, was playing the classic phone game Snake when he was bitten on the behind by the sneaky python.

But the startled toilet goer did reveal he was “lucky” the snake had not bitten his privates.

Tazali was using the lav at his home in the town of Selayang in the Malaysian state of Selangor when his ‘me’ time was rudely interrupted by the lurking python.

Tazali posted photos of the reptile being captured by snake catchers with the message: “Two months ago, my bottom was bitten by a snake. The snake came out of the toilet.”

He added: “Luckily, it didn’t bite my eggs.”

Tazali said he usually spends around 15 minutes playing games on his phone when using the loo.

After feeling the snake’s bite on his buttocks, Tazali said he stood up and yanked the reptile off, flinging it against the bathroom wall.

In a panic, he then broke the door while trying desperately to open it.

Fortunately for Tazali, the snake not only decided not to bite his private parts but also was non-venomous.

The young gamer went to a local hospital to have his wound checked and received an anti-tetanus jab from doctors.

Meanwhile, firefighters arrived at the house to remove the snake.

Tazali told local media that he is still traumatised by the snake attack and even used a toilet at a nearby mosque for two weeks instead of his own loo.

He added that he was grossed out when he plucked “half the snake’s tooth” from his bum bite, suspecting that it broke off when he “yanked the snake hard” and lobbed it against the wall.

Tazali, whose family has lived in the same area for 40 years, said he has since replaced the dark-maroon toilet bowl with a brand-new white one so he can see inside better.
