This is the moment a postman nonchalantly fires people’s packages through a post office window from a distance – missing his first shot with the package ending up on the ground.

The bizarre incident took place in the city of Krasnoyarsk in central Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Krai region and was recorded on a smartphone by an eyewitness.

In the clip, a Russian Post employee can be seen standing outside between a lorry full of delivery packages and a large window leading into the post office.

The employee is seen launching packages from the lorry towards the window from a distance. The first package he throws hits the window frame and bounces back onto the ground.

He slowly walks over and lifts it up before walking back to throw more packages through the window – seemingly onto a conveyor belt.

Local media report that the video forced local Russian Post management to become involved and the employee in the video had to explain his actions to his boss.

Local media report it is likely he will receive a punishment for his actions.

Russian Post spokeswoman, Anastasia Dyukareva, said: “We have conducted an additional conversation with the entire team working for the lorry service, and have reminded them about rules of provision for postal services.”

Netizen ‘Pavel Anferov’ said: “This is crazy. I wonder if they checked whether those packages were OK, I bet they simply opened them up.”

While ‘Venar Gormley’ added: “He is doing his job similar to what he is getting paid for. He gets peanuts, this is how he is getting paid.”
