This is the moment a Porsche driver slams into a woman and drags her under the vehicle’s chassis before appearing to roll over her top half.
The incident took place at an unnamed car repair centre in the north-western Russian city of Saint Petersburg and led to the woman being hospitalised in a serious condition.
In the CCTV footage, a woman in a long coat is seen walking through the courtyard before the black Porsche drives directly into her, seemingly intentionally.
However, the car is driving at a slow speed and its windscreen and windows appear to be obscured.
The Porsche continues moving and the woman is swallowed under its chassis, being dragged several metres. At one point, a front wheel seems to roll over the top part of her body before the driver finally stops.
According to local media, the 24-year-old victim survived the accident, but is hospitalised in a serious condition.
Reports said the driver is a 30-year-old man, but it is unclear whether he is the Porsche owner or a worker at the car repair centre.
The local authorities have confirmed they are investigating the incident.
Netizen ‘Natalia’ said: “This is awful, but this man probably thought he had the right to keep driving. Why do people tend to do that in Russia?”
‘Stanislav’ commented: “I get the impression the man wanted to kill this woman. It seems like a cold-blooded decision. I think it is time to make the laws on this kind of thing stronger.”
