This is the moment a poor mummy pooch hobbles around with one leg rotten to the bone after the limb apparently became entangled with a wire and the blood supply was cut off.

The incident was filmed in the western Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan and the footage was shared on Facebook by netizen ‘Amalina Mazlan II’ where it has been viewed 450,000 times.

In the clip, the poor dog is seen hobbling around a shop with wire entangled around the top of one of its front legs. Below the wire, there is only fractured bone.

According to local media, the pooch is also mother to four newborn puppies and has to fend for them in this condition.

Netizen ‘Mandy Yeap Yeap’ learned about the dog’s plight and said that it had been chased by four different groups and was exhausted when she found it.

Mandy and two friends reportedly took the pooch and its four puppies to a veterinary clinic for treatment.

Meanwhile, animal shelter worker Elaine Sew has posted an update of the dog’s recovery where she said they are currently waiting for its condition to improve.

Luckily, the four puppies are all doing well.

It is unclear how the metal wire became wrapped around the pooch’s front leg.
