Politician Falls From Broken Chair During Livestream And Carries On Regardless

This is the moment a political opponent of the Mexican president falls to the floor when his chair breaks before carrying on with his livestream as if nothing had happened.

Gilberto Lozano, the leader of the National Anti-AMLO Front (FRENA), was filmed falling to the floor during a Facebook livestream for his 300,000 followers.

Lozano’s organisation is opposed to the left-wing Mexican president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO).

In the footage, viewed 51,000 times on Facebook, Lozano is seen discussing the country’s first ever Mandate Revocation consultation, which could see the Mexican people decided it they want Lopez Obrador to leave office or complete his six-year term, due to end in 2024.

As he takes his seat, the chair apparently gives way and Lozano disappears from view.

Lozano then appears onscreen after apparently clearing away some of the broken wooden pieces, and he straightens his jacket before continuing unabated.

He then reaches for his laptop to continue his livestream as if nothing had happened.

It is not the first time Lozano has gone viral for posting bungled video attacks on the Mexican president. In December 2021, a painting of the Virgin Mary fell from the wall while he carried out a livestream.

He also trended in April 2021 when he posted a video of himself shouting obscenities at a stuffed toy wearing a mask of the Mexican president.
