This image shows the two adorable twin babies born to a policeman’s wife who died following massive organ failure following the cesarean birth.
The police officer, who was identified only by the name Domik K. because of local privacy laws, works for the CID in the German city of Frankfurt and he and his wife Cindy, 38, had been excitedly awaiting the birth of their twins but she was rushed into hospital for cesarean after doctors noticed that the condition of the woman and one of the babies was worsening.
Both the children were removed in a cesarean birth but tragically the mother did not get better, and later died.

In a post online appealing for donations the police officers trade union in the state of Hessen wrote about the fateful day that his wife died in January at the same time as the twins were born.
They said: “After wanting children for a long time his wife Cindy became pregnant and the children were due in February this year. But last week her condition and the condition one of the children worsened. After the operation, a rare condition developed in which organs started to shut down, and she died of internal bleeding.”
The young woman had reportedly fought against the condition for several days before dying on 14th January.

Several people contacted the cops to check that the appeal for donations was correct and they confirmed in a Facebook posting that it was genuine.
They added: “Money cannot bring back the wife of our colleague and the mother of the twins, but we want to try and raise donations to help him in this difficult time. All donations will be passed on without any deductions.”
They added: “Our thoughts are with our colleague and we wish him and his two newborn children and the family left behind all the strength in the world in order to get through their painful loss.”
The money is because the mother’s death and the loss of the second income and also extra costs in order to raise the children for the young father.
