These snaps show Brazilian plus-size dancer Thais Carla celebrating her 30th birthday in style onboard a yacht while rocking a bright green bikini.
The dancer and influencer shared her birthday snaps on Instagram where she commands an army of 2.6 million followers over the weekend.
Thais accompanied the photos with the message: “Happy birthday to me!”
The post garnered 300,000 likes and over 7,000 comments, mostly from fans wishing the plus-size dancer a happy birthday.

Earlier this month, Thais successfully sued a comedian for “fatphobia”.
A court in the city of Salvador in the north-eastern Brazilian state of Bahia ordered comedian Leonardo Lins to pay the plus-size star BRL 5,000 (GBP 671) for punitive damages.
Judges Francinaldo Santos Palmeira and Carolina Almeida da Cunha Guedes ratified the court’s decision on Tuesday, 14th September, and it cannot be appealed.
The comedian was convicted for improperly using the dancer’s image and for publishing a video disclosing her personal information.
The video in question was titled ‘Wedged on a Plane – How to Travel While Fat’.
The dancer took to Instagram on 6th October to write: “He ridiculed me with several prejudiced and fatphobic phrases.
“This was the first time a judge has directly upheld a conviction for the transgression of blatant fatphobia, which is an excellent win for all plus-size people.”
The comedian argued that his “comic videos aim to present everyday topics that allow the debate of ideas, commented on with humorous and non-pejorative content”.
The judges, however, wrote: “He exposed her, ridiculing her with several prejudiced phrases exuding unmistakable fatphobia, and even encouraging people subscribed to her social media pages to post equally offensive messages against her.”
The 29-year-old influencer wrote on Instagram: “Fight for your rights! I hope this lawsuit serves to inspire many others. No one can freely offend us and feel that’s okay. I did this not just for me, but for all fat people who suffer attacks. We don’t deserve to suffer this in silence!”
Thais Carla hails from Rio de Janeiro and lives with her husband and two daughters in Bahia.
She joined Brazilian singer Anitta’s dance troupe in 2017.
