This is the moment an excited dog chases a plastic bottle on the floor and whips away the chair its owner is sitting on, causing her to land hard on her behind.

The incident was filmed at the woman’s partner’s newly-opened restaurant in the city of Hefei in the Chinese province of Anhui at around 9pm on 6th March.

The dog owner, named Ms Ma, told local media: “I weight 90 lbs (6.4 stone) and my dog weights 60 lbs (4.3 stone), I really didn’t expect the little guy to be so strong!”

She said she took the nine-month-old labrador to her partner’s newly-opened restaurant and was worried that it might run around and cause bother.

As a result, she tied the dog’s lead to the leg of her chair and started having a nice conversation with her feller.

Ms Ma said: “I was afraid the dog might get bored so I have it a plastic bottle to play with.”

However, at one point, the bottle escaped from the dog’s paws and it ran after it while still tied to Ms Ma’s chair.

As seen in the footage, when the dog chased after the spinning bottle, it dragged the chair from under Ms Ma and she crashed to the floor.

She said she was unhurt in the incident and did not tell off her pet dog, admitting that she found it funny at the time and especially when she watched the CCTV footage back later.
