Playboy And Miss BumBum Star Dubbed The Powder Queen Jailed For 8 Years For Prostitution And Drug Trafficking

This gorgeous former Playboy cover model and Miss BumBum winner dubbed the ‘Powder Queen’ has been jailed for eight years for prostitution and drug trafficking.

Flavia Tamayo, who also goes by the name Pamela Pantera, has been jailed for eight years for dealing drugs and prostituting herself after being imprisoned in the Brazilian state of Espirito Santo between June and September last year pending trial.

The adult film star was part of a drug-trafficking scheme run by a criminal organisation set up by prostitutes. Investigators found that the pornographic actress and her accomplices had specialised in the distribution and sale of Class A narcotics, including cocaine.

The police investigators found that they had been selling the drugs to wealthy customers in the Federal District where the capital Brasília is located.

Tamayo, who has been dubbed the ‘Powder Queen’, once featured on the cover of Playboy in Portugal. Her arrest made headlines when police officers tried to apprehend her and she caused a scene at a hotel, taking her clothes off in front of the officers and guests.

During the raids carried out by the police on 5th June 2020, during which they served 37 arrest warrants, they seized large amounts of cocaine, firearms and ammunition.

Investigators at the time said that they believed that the criminal organisation run by the prostitutes had a “sex programme” that involved supplying escorts and drugs to rich clients.

While prostitution itself is not illegal in Brazil, employing sex workers and running brothels are. She also participated in the Miss BumBum Brazil contest, which she won in 2018.

The court said that the model can serve her sentence in a semi-open regime and the sentence can be appealed.
