A European air passenger has been seized by police in Malaysia after abusing check-in staff with an astonishing four-letter-word rant.
The woman was at the check-in counter at the capital’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport when she let rip after apparently being asked to show her passport.
A video of the bizarre encounter shows the unnamed woman slapping down her passport on the counter, saying: “This is my Norwegian passport.”
Then she adds: “Embassy on your motherf**king ars*.”
The video then shows her shaking her head smugly before blowing kisses at the airport staff and demanding: “F*** you. Your name? Let me have it.”
Airport police chief ACP Imran Abd Rahman later confirmed that the woman had been arrested for creating a disturbance after demanding to be checked off a flight she had already checked in.
She claimed that she had forgotten her personal belongings and needed to delay her flight in order to get them.
He said: “She was arrested, and we charged her with behaving inappropriately. She was fined RM 100 (GBP 18).”
It is unclear who took the original video but it was shared by TikTok user @missssssyl with the caption: “What would u do if people like this attack you for no reason?”.
The woman’s attitude attracted comments from many people, including Malaysian actress Kudsia Kahar, who urged immigration officials not to allow her back into the country.
She wrote: “Breaking my Twitter fast because this is outrageous! Not my video, just saw this on TikTok. Warning: this Caucasian lady uses foul language. @imigresenmy please blacklist this Karen and don’t allow her back in here, ever.”
