This is the moment passenger scream in terror as an aeroplane is facing turbulence during a bumpy flight in China.

Air China flight CA8524 travelling from Xi’an to Wenzhou, got into difficulties after it encountered strong air currents while flying at a high altitude.

In the footage recorded inside the plane, the people can be heard screaming as the plane shakes due to the turbulence.

A passenger told local media that he could see the plane wings vibrating as the plane bumped up and down.

Air China said they launched an investigation into the incident, which showed that the plane experienced short-term turbulence due to strong air currents, according to local media.

According to the company, the plane crew dealt with the situation efficiently and according to the procedures, which prevented further incidents during the flight.

They added that with the cooperation of the passengers, the flight landed normally at Wenzhou Longwan Airport.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.

The company said that it will continue its mission to deliver safe and efficient services.

The video gained a lot of comments on Douyin, which is what TikTok is called in China, such as netizen ‘proud’ who wrote: “You suddenly turned your phone sideways, I thought it was going to turn over.”

And ‘Carpe diem’ commented: “In this situation, don’t be nervous, take a deep breath, calm your mind, don’t think wildly, and bite your ID card in your mouth.”
