This adorable piglet that was born without hind legs has been kept as a pet and after learning how to walk on its front legs it was given this device with wheels to help it get around.

The piglet was born in Maoming, which is a city located in Guangdong province in southern China.

According to Chinese media outlets, it is four months old and weighs 10 lbs. It was born with only two front legs and no hind legs.

But its owner, named only as Mr Xu, says that he has never considered selling the piglet and has decided instead to keep it as a pet.

Footage shows the tiny piglet scurrying around the farmyard among other pigs while wearing a device with wheels that allows it to get around more easily.

Other footage shows the piglet moving around on its front legs without any device but it seems to have some difficulty getting the balance right.

A third video shows the piglet having apparently mastered moving around on its front legs as a bemused chicken appears to look on in wonder.
